If I ever get to go to Baltimore this guide will be my go to reference. My wife is a huge crab fan so she’s looking over my shoulder right now telling me I have to make this. Do you think a bit of Old Bay would be out of place?

Yay! Your wife is a smart lady, Romain! If she loves crab then I can guarantee that she’ll love this dish! It’s easy-to-make and really delivers in succelent, buttery crab flavor. You could definitely sprinkle some old bay into the crab mixture, although be careful not to add too much. The goal here is to complement the crab without overpowering it, so that’s why I kept the seasonings simple. If you’re an Old Bay fan though, definitely give it a try. Hope you and your wife enjoy this dish! It’s one of my favorites. 🙂

YAY my personal Baltimore tour guide! 🙂 I love this post! I haven’t been able to travel as much lately but I feel so comforted to know that if I do visit, I’m in good hands with you. I noticed they are known for their seafood which is AWESOME since I love seafood! 😀 Blue crab is definitely amazing. Growing up I used to have this a lot! The subtle sweetness is spot on! 🙂 I can’t really convince people to try it because they always tell me its too much work and rather go for the giant dungeoness crab but I think this recipe will totally change their minds! The buttery crust and the crab combination sounds absolutely amazing. 🙂

i’m a crab > lobster girl (i find that crab is so much sweeter and its price point is friendlier), so this sounds delicious. and i love that this is mostly crab with some butter and crackers; then the crab can shine and doesn’t get masked by anything else!

You had me at crab pie. I love that little french oven you are using, I may have to consider buying one myself. I have been considering a new nice dutch oven too so I’m glad to hear you love your Le Creuset. Buttery crackers and crab are such a wonderful combination. I’ve never considered graham cracker before though, what an interesting idea.
