Mulled Cranberry-Orange Non-Alcoholic Fizz

Ingredients
  • 4 cups cranberry juice cocktail
  • 4 cloves
  • 4 (1-inch) pieces of orange zest
  • 4 (1-inch) slices of ginger
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1.5 cups freshly squeezed orange juice (the juice of 2-3 navel oranges, strain to remove any pulp)
  • 3 cups club soda, cold
  • Fresh cranberries, for garnish
  • Fresh orange slices, for garnish
Instructions
  1. Pour cranberry juice into a medium saucepan. Add cloves, orange zest, ginger, and cinnamon sticks.
  2. Heat on high until just boiling. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes then remove from heat.
  3. Remove all the spices from the juice with a slotted spoon. Pour juice into a pitcher and put in fridge to cool.
  4. When cranberry juice is cold, add orange juice. Stir well.
  5. Add club soda.
  6. Pour spritzer into glasses. Garnish with fresh cranberries and orange slices, if desired. Enjoy!
